A couple of years ago during a walk in the holler with my dogs and cats, I was reflecting on the idea of revolution. What had brought this to mind was my awareness -- in my work as an activist in environmental justice -- of feeling out of synch with an increasing number of appeals from colleagues and others for something more revolutionary.
The question for me was not about whether significant action was required to protect Earth's living systems from humankind's destructive relationship with nature. It was more about how to do that in a way that would most effectively change the geocidal and genocidal patterns of relationship that have caused so much suffering for people and nature for thousands, even millions, of years.
I have struggled with this question since I was in my twenties, even making significant career shifts as my thoughts about all of this evolved. In the past few years, as consequences of our collective maltreatment of Earth continue to magnify our mistakes, I have found myself again questioning how best to take action. The more that suffering on Earth impinges upon my emotional field, the more I feel tempted to take up so-called revolutionary tactics.
The thought that came to me on my walk in the holler, however, was this: anything we might see as revolution is really just a moment -- a time- and space-limited snapshot -- of evolution. And there is no better teacher of this than the natural systems of Earth itself.
In the past nine months I have taken part in many teleconferences, read many books and papers, and done much contemplation on notions of conscious evolution and evolutionaries. I have been very inspired by the work so many are doing, by the ways that these ideas are beginning to manifest in observable, tangible ways all across the planet.
My exploration of these ideas has helped me go deeper into a question we all ask and care about deeply: as a one-of-a-kind being in the wholeness of Source, who am I? What is my place in the larger scheme of things? What is it that Source has given me that is my unique gift to give to others? For me, the answer to that continues to evolve, but I would say as this Spring Cycle unfolds, it seems to be evolving faster!
I started this blog as a project focused on my study of a particlar text, Evolution of Man, and consisting primarily of thoughts inspired by that book. That intention is shifting, evolving. I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
As a reflection of profound evolutionary events now manifesting on Earth and in our solar system, I wanted to end with excerpts and links to posts that have had significant impacts on me in the past couple of weeks. Solar Logos Impregnates Earth
Channeled via Phillel on March 30, 2011
DR. HANNIBAL/ST. GERMAIN: This is Dr. Hannibal/St. Germain, master teacher of this focal point of channeling light. What you have witnessed in this new fusion of light-body anchoring is the bringing forth of new elements to assist in the transmutation of this planetary logos.* With assistance of complementary forces of Jontel, and under guidance from Lord Uriel, through amplification of hieronics aboard my master sister ship #1236, we have successfully brought through this focus of light at I Am Nation headquarters a linkup with the Earth logos to a new level at this time, to avert serious planetary crisis. Oneness 101: 19 - Resurrection Is At Hand
After Jesus’ crucifixion, he spent three days in the tomb. In this time, he was in the astral planes where he reviewed his remaining thought/soul threads that still were Earth related. He rested, reevaluated and reprogrammed these lingering tendrils, and awaited his resurrection. In this period, he was attended to and guided by a host of angelic guardians and etheric masters.
Following my crucifixion experience at the healing workshop, I spent about three weeks in a tomb-like state of consciousness. During this time, I reviewed my crucifixion, gleaned further insight about it, chose what I would say and do about it, and awaited my resurrection. In considering my response to my crucifiers and others, the phrase “a word to the wise is sufficient” came prominently to me. Whatever I said or shared was to be simple, concise and couched in cosmic principles. Anything more would be superfluous and even counterproductive. (Read more...)
