Several weeks ago, a female Northern Parula warbler started showing up at my bird feeders. She's clearly gathering food now and flying off with it, so I hope I get to see some fledglings at some point. I see several kinds of warblers here in the Holler, but this is the first I have seen as a regular feeder visitor since I moved here in the Fall of 2000.
On July 15th, she collected a little suet and caught a spider before flying away. [Cathie Bird photo, July 15, 2024]
Yesterday she came to gather suet. [Cathie Bird photo, July 25, 2024]
