This past week, the Holler was full of new voices. Some belonged to migrating birds arriving for the breeding season, or just passing through on their way farther north. But quite a few came from titmouse and woodpecker parents that built nests near my house this spring.
Yesterday after the clouds had dropped what water they had, some of these voices showed up in person, sitting still long enough for me to get some photos.
