Solar roads?
It's Labor Day weekend. A lot of people are going to be driving. What if all the roads doubled as solar collectors? Seems pie in the sky, but apparently one man has secured a grant to look into it.

Hawk's Notes: I had a blast watching this. I've often thought that if Americans started to get it that fossil fuels are a dead end, we'd see all kinds of folks coming up with exciting new ideas for different sources of energy. Maybe just a few of the ideas will ever work, but so what? Even if only one does, it will be worth it to communities of people and nature that are suffering at the hands of corporate fossil fuel greed.
